We are Both Worlds.

Thierry Cassuto created Both Worlds in 1998 when he permanently moved to South Africa after 15 years in television in France, successively launching channels Paris Première and M6, then TVTV, a boutique development and production company. Both Worlds, with offices in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Paris, has produced programming for most South African TV channels, winning in the process 29 South African Film and TV Awards and 2 Int’l Emmy nominations. Best known for its popular weekly satirical news show, Puppet Nation, where puppets take the mickey out of newsmakers and celebrities, Both Worlds also produced the TV comedy panel shows Point of Order and Parlement Parlement, as well as CCN on Viacom’s Comedy Central Africa. The company recently launched a high-end scripted TV series department headed by award-winning playwright and screenwriter Karen Jeynes. Both Worlds’ Recipes for Love and Murder, a drama series in coproduction with Pirate Production (UK), Mnet, AMC Acorn (US) and Global Screen (Ger), hits screens in March 2022. The documentary Africa and I, a coproduction with Showmax, is available to stream, and at various festivals, and we are in development on a number of other international drama coproductions.
